Bring a Unique Trainer and Presenter to Your Group: trowetraining@comcast.net

Have you missed me? After a torturous time with a broken leg and ankle, I’m back providing training, consulting and presentations! I’ve never stopped completely, but I was certainly slowed down for a bit.

Many of you have had similar experiences. If so, you have a special place in my heart. If you haven’t, protect your body and your mind–even minor damage adds up!

Denver Police Department: I was with the DPD from 1969-1993, coming up through the ranks from patrol officer to being the first female sergeant, then a lieutenant and captain. During my tenure I worked in every division, was the commander of the Training Academy and Internal Affairs, and retired as the Captain in charge of Patrol District Two, Northeast Denver.

United States Marshal: In 1993 I was appointed by President Bill Clinton to be the United States Marshal for Colorado–a challenging experience! I was responsible for securing the Oklahoma City bombing trials (U.S. v. McVeigh, U.S. v. Nichols.) and for many federal responses in Colorado after September 11, 2001. During my time as a United States Marshal I served as the chair of the Denver Federal Executive Board for six years and participated in congressional investigations and local, state and federal committees.

T. Rowe Training: I began my training and consulting life in 2002 and have taught and presented to well over a thousand audiences all over the country.

I’m not a training entrepreneur–I don’t have packaged presentations and I don’t want to be a packaged person. I am just a very comfortable, uniquely effective presenter who offers immediately applicable, personalized training and presentations. You can be sure I will engage your group and get enthusiastic reactions.

Contact me at trowetraining@comcast.net or text or call (303) 324-3988, to receive registration information for a class you’ve seen advertised, to talk about a presentation you have in mind, or to ask about my work as a consultant to individuals, supervisors and managers.

• Shared Vigilance: Keep Your Church Secure, 24/7. BIG Picture security and safety training for leaders, security teams, and congregation members, or for officers who are resources. This is a unique six-hour seminar that is designed for all church members and leaders, not only security teams. A workbook is in progress. Contact me if you’d like to be provide input.

• Promotional Assessment Center Preparation: I can help candidates feel more confident and be significantly more effective, using the concept in my book, A Preparation Guide to the Assessment Center Method, Third Edition, Charles C. Thomas, publishers.

Many officers fly or drive to Denver and meet for a day or two for focused training. I can do some video work as well, but it isn’t the same as face-to-face. I’m also available for classes for all candidates in a police department, as way to provide career development and preparation for upcoming promotions.

• Strategic Patrolling: Never Random or Routine (The only training like it, anywhere!) I offer this dramatically different approach to patrolling as a three day Train the Trainer class or for select small groups or individuals. This material is needed now, more than ever. However, it requires minds and hearts that are open to learning and innovation. If you have those, contact me for information.

• Leadership Through Coaching (Guide and train others for more effective performance and behavior.)
• Leading in a Non-Sworn Assignments (The only training specifically for professional staff in law enforcement organizations.)
• Developing and Leading a Supervisory Team (For Lieutenants and higher or those who aspire to those ranks.)

I also do keynote and closing addresses, and break-out sessions, personalized for the group, and presented with inspiration and humor. I nearly always have the highest critiques at any conference!
Some recent titles:
• Living Your Leadership Legacy
• Be The One With Courage
• Take the Mountaintop Back to Work

Group and individual consulting: In the Denver area I’m available for individual or group problem-solving, usually focused on identifying sources of interpersonal concerns and providing counseling, training and tough truths to help individuals and groups be more effective. (I was one of the two Workplace Doctors on the Ask The Workplace Doctors website that was active for over twenty years and I know we helped many people.)

Call me or email me to schedule one or more training days, to host training, or for a presentation at a conference, special event, team meeting or retreat. I don’t cold call and I won’t nag you after you contact me.

I’m here if you need me and I’d like to help make your event successful or assist you, your work group or organization.
